Who am I?

Katie is a passionate psychologist who has over five years of clinical experience across a range of settings. Her areas of interest include; Autism, ADHD, depression, anxiety, trauma, existential concerns and how psychology can be practiced across different cultures and contexts.

Katie's approach to psychological practice is largely informed by a Schema-Therapy Framework. She believes there is incredible depth and complexity in each individual and that the therapeutic journey should honour this. Katie seeks to understand the way the client sees the world with empathy and gentleness. To embark upon therapy with an individual is a great privilege and Katie views this as a client-led, collaborative process.

“We must see in every person a universe with its own secrets, with its own treasures, with its own sources of anguish, and with some measure of triumph.  In each person, a universe.”

– Elie Wiesel
